KNOWLEDGE AND INSPIRATION!
Trade fairs are not only about business talks, establishing long-lasting contacts or learning about trends and market releases. It is also a perfect time and place to broaden your knowledge and get inspired. Thanks to many years of cooperation with the Polish Chamber of Packaging, the 4th Packaging Industry Congress took place on October 2. This year's theme of the Congress was the transformation of the packaging industry oriented towards the closed-circuit economy. According to the assumptions adopted by the European Commission related to the protection of the natural environment and non-renewable raw materials, the economies of the European Union countries are to strive to "close" the circulation of the product, from its creation, through its use, recycling/upcycling and re-use. The participants recognized this topic as the most relevant for today and for the coming years, provoking activities aimed at saving non-renewable resources used in the economy. The fair was also an opportunity to see the ART OF PACKAGING exhibition, where the works of the winners of the competition for the best packaging of the year were presented. The main objective of this competition is to promote innovation, creativity and competitiveness of Polish packagings on the domestic and foreign markets. The second ART OF COLOR Congress, which took place on October 1, 2018, was an extremely important event during this edition of the Fair. Its participants and experts discussed how to meet the growing demands of customers, focusing mainly on the development of the printing industry, openness to new industries and export opportunities. Not only was the event a unique forum for discussing the technological development of the printing market in Poland, but it also provided an opportunity to integrate the entire industry.
