In the case of food and raw materials for its production, every day of waiting means not only additional logistics and warehousing costs but also the risk of delayed deliveries or disruption of production continuity.
Can Polish ports become the first choice for goods directed to the Polish market? How to shorten control times without compromising safety? And what changes in clearance organization, digitalization, and regulations are needed so that goods destined for Poland are cleared right here in Poland? One of the main challenges remains the fragmentation of border controls – one shipment can pass through several services, procedures, and IT systems. During the debate, experts will discuss how to shorten clearance times without lowering safety standards, including through the "one-stop" model, system integration, the "once-only" principle, and the broader use of risk analysis.
The discussion will also cover customs and tax barriers, including VAT issues, customs and tax representation, and DDP deliveries. Participants will consider what changes can increase the competitiveness of Polish ports, streamline supply chains, and ensure that goods destined for Poland are cleared in Poland.
